  1. I actually met her during the filming of Juwanna Mann here in Charlotte while working as an extra. I found her to be a very approachable nice person. She wasn’t what we often refer to as hollyweird. So was Vivica. Vivica had the most beautiful skin I’d ever seen and was also very nice and approachable. Genuine was absolutely hollyweird. He had all the extras removed while he filmed his role.

  2. I think she understand the ebbs and flows of Hollywood. During her time you had to have a certain look (racially ambiguous) to have leading roles, or play the maid in slave movies. Hollywood is still the same now. Maybe the path she took was God’s plan.

  3. We don’t know that she would’ve had more success. What other black actress with her looks gained that type of fame during that time? Halle Berry? She’s racially ambiguous and had to play a prostitute to win a Oscar.
